What grain are you looking at? Trying to get the early numbers together here.

The cheapest 2 row for sure, possibly maris otter. Id be down for half splits of white wheat/munich light/Vienna/carapils. Possibly 3-4 way splits of chocolate/roasted barley/midnight wheat/carafa III/carared

How much exactly I would want is completely dependent on the splits....

Briess 2-row is $32 plus shipping. I'll put you down for a bag of that and a bag of Bairds Maris Otter at $47.

Anyone want to split white wheat, munich 10L, Vienna, Carapils with DPV?

I'll take a bag of 2 row and split Munich, white wheat and carapils. Someone want to split Vienna?

We talking Best Malz German on the Munich and Wheat? Or just Briess. I know the guys like the German Munich, especially, and the Vienna...It's only $4-5 for the imported German malt...VERY worth it, IMO

We're about half-way there, weight-wise, to getting the pricing we need. Tell a friend, tell your mom, tell yourself: You need more grain.

I'm cool with German. This is my first group buy, so I will trust your guys judgment. Also wouldn't mind splitting aromatic. You know. Only if someone else was to :)

How many pounds are you guys hoping to get? I am hoping to do a brew soon, and just curious how long you guys thought it would be, I know it is tough to guess, so was hoping maybe to get a poundage goal.

2000 lbs is the minimum for bulk pricing. We're at about half that right now, so probably take us until end of June.

I upped my order. I put a half bag of aromatic if someone will split with me that would be great. I need to get to brewing!

Just checking in. Would love to get this order rolling soon. Post items here, email me, or update your orders if possible.

I agree. I am brewing for a friends wedding and i need to get rolling. I forwarded this on to a local homebrew group. Hopefullywe get a few more orders

I will bring it up at German American Society Homebrew Club on Wednesday, hopefully they have a lot of needs.

Awkward silence......

I think everyone is enjoying their summer and brewing less. It's been hot too, can't blame them, then when it's nice, you gotta take advantage of the weather and go have fun!

I'll ask a buddy of mine if he's interested, since he doesn't get on HBT. Maybe we can finish this up by July? :mug:

My order is up to 995lbs. I hope the minivan can take it:confused: How close are we?

I believe i am splitting Munich, white wheat, and carapils with you and I'm not sure about the Vienna. I have half a bag of each of them on my sheet. You can sure split it with me if its not already taken.

Looking at the sheets it seems you are splitting all four with DPatrickV. You are the only ones with half bags, that I can tell.

Looks like we've made the mark! 2000lbs. was the goal and we seem to be there. I'll confirm everything once I talk to the wholesaler and get the quote.

Any last minute orders, speak now!

I am looking at maybe a few or so split of caramel 20/40/60 if anyone is interested. If not no biggie. 50 pounds is a lot of specialty grains.
