I have seen that some of you dry hop in kegs, do you do it with the gas on? Any problems with sediment? My pale ale needs more hops. Been on the gas now for 5 days and doing well, just not much hops to it.

Do you have an extra keg handy? You could dry hop the empty keg, charge it up and transfer under pressure. That way your not opening your gassed keg.

vent the gas, add your hops to a sanitized cloth hop sack, drop it in the keg and put the lid and gas back on it and it will be ready to drink in a week......

anytime I dry hop in a keg with the beer cold it picks up an astringent tea taste that never goes away. I don't know how other people do it but I've tried several times and not once did it turn out drinkable.
