Partial Something
Batch size: 5.25 gallons

6.34 ABV, 23.37 IBU, 26.79 SRM (Brewers Friends calculation)

1 lb Chestnut chips, medium roast (Trail's End)
1 tsp Amylase
12 hours 155F

2 lb 6 oz Maris Otter
8 oz Belgian Debittered Black (Dingemans)
5 oz Cara 45 (Dingemans)
3 oz Cara 8 (Dingemans)
45 minute steep 155F

60 minute boil
1 oz Challenger (60 min)
3.3 lb Amber LME (Briess)
3.3 lb Maris Otter LME (Muntons)
1 oz East Kent Goldings (15 min)
0.5 oz Amarillo (5 min)

Safale US-05

2 weeks primary

3 weeks bottle conditioned

First taste: 10 February 2018

Rules: Leftovers
A pound of chestnut chips
A pound of the oldest specialty
All the base malts
2.5 oz oldest hops

Planned to purchase:
LME to match oldest base malt.
White Labs with lowest number, that I haven't use, rated 4 for ESB, that was in stock at Northern Brewer.
I already had MO for a Wells Bombardier that I have postponed because WLP006 was unavailable.
When the WLP023 in my NB cart switched to "out of stock," I chose not to order more MO LME and used the can of Amber and the Safale planned a Redhook Double Black Stout that SWMBO had postponed for the Old Rasputin.
So, this turned into 100% out of my inventory.
