2x5#
1x20#
1 useless paintball (what, maybe 20oz?) tank w adapter that Dick's no longer refills so useless
1 micro regulator with small and large co2 cartridges
1 64oz UKeg
And a beer.
In a tree.
Yes, the paintball cannisters became obsolete and worthless once Dick's and other paint ball suppliers went Green and stopped refilling them with CO2. Now Soda Stream cannisters are the only refillable game in town for small, portable beer serving. Thankfully, my LHBS refills soda stream cannisters and exchanges 5 lb. tanks.
The paint ball tanks can be refilled off a 20# CO2 with the adapter for the paintball tank and a transfer hose. Then there is also a special fill system for paintball tanks as well.I love my 2.5 lb tank and mini regulator. A co2 transfer hose has been awesome. I just flip my 20lb upside down to fill it.
This brings me to the don't do that part. My plan was to refill my own paintball tank from my #20, and the paintball tank was empty to begin with. I put the adapter on the paintball tank, connected the transfer hose, filled the paintball tank, and started to unscrew the paintball tank at the adapter to transfer hose connection. DON'T DO THAT. CO2 starts spraying out, clearly cold, hissing, I'm panicking, no clue what's the problem or how to fix it or even whether it's going to blow up. Seemed like forever, the only thought I settled on was I'm glad I'm in the garage if it does as no one was nearby. Anyway, the adapter has to stay connected to the opposite device and should not stay connected to the paintball tank. This would be immediately clear screwing it into a full paintball tank, but I didn't start that way. There were no instructions. The adapter stays on the regulator and then when screwing it on, it depresses the valve on the paintball tank but the regulator stops the flow.
They make transfer hoses for paintball tanks and soda streams but they put on extra valves and there's also a knob to depress the pin valve on the paintball tank. Sometimes they come with a hanging scale.
I just filled mine up finally this evening.
