Never mind, his name is now Remy.

Haha we just adopted a kitten this weekend, if we were not maxed out with three dogs we would get a fourth. Anyhow the name kept changing over the first 24-36 hours. I was content with the names we had narrowed down from the beginning.

We have a hunting dog, but I don't hunt, so we are homeschooling her I HIGHLY recommend the "Cat TV" on YouTube. Search it. My dog will watch it without blinking for an entire intermission period of hockey.



And I guess she's learning something. Wife caught her running around with a bird hanging out of her mouth today.

Just home from our first long RV trip with our three Goldendoodles. 13 days, 8 campgrounds, numerous busy truck stops, traveled through 7 states, and a goodtime was had by all! (Though they appear to be happy to be home again!)

On the subject of dogs... my dog prefers baseball.

our first 2 beagles could catch, but couldn't throw

our previous beagle & current one could throw, but not catch (popcorn will bounce of their head)

don't know how well any of them would do at the plate, careers in the majors are questionable

Our oldest dog hates football (American); mainly because her dad gets a bit vocal when the game isn't going the way he wants it to. She's mostly deaf but can hear him when he gets loud, so she runs and hides under the bed. Young dog just looks at him with disdain then goes back to sleep.

Today is an incredibly sad day. My brew buddy and best friend left us suddenly. A very rapid decline due to renal failure. Our hearts are broken.
He is now with his best friend, our Collie, Lindsey that we lost 3 years ago. They were best friends and inseparable.
This Christmas will not be the same without him. RIP my friend.

Thanks man. Still hurts, but we're just about ready to start looking for another dog. So many out there needing good homes.

It was about 3 tough months before I thought about looking. Took a long long time to find one with the right breeder. I knew I’d get another Vizsla. Mine passed in July ‘22. Just added this guy to family this week …
