Sure, that would be fine. I can't imagine that you'd have any issues doing it that way.

Out of interest, what did you think the problem was with the MO as base malt? I ask because we can't get American 2-row here, so I use MO as the base in almost all my recipes.YooperBrew said:I'm still liking the original best. I never tried the extract version, but the others said it's pretty good.

Thanks Yooper - when I get hold of the hops, I'll try an MO-only batch.YooperBrew said:Well, it was too malty and sweet for me. Now, some of that was undoubtedly the crystal, but the MO presence was too much. If I had just MO, I'd skip the crystal and see if that helped.
