9 days into fermentation (Belgian dubbel). The kruezen looks more "brainy" than others I have done. Only brewed and handful of batches so far (less than 10) just looking to see what other think of the appearance. Bubbled up in the first 24 hours like normal and got a head about an inch thick overall them dropped to this.

It's fine.
I've seen much scarier looking batches than that one and they were all fine, too - including the batch that looked like a trub fetus :eek:

What yeast is that?

Side note: If you ferment in a plastic bucket that brainy look won't freak you out because you will never see it. It usually drops out with time so if you give the beer a couple weeks or more in the bucket it will make clear beer.
