That looks purdy. I use a 1500w element in my standalone HEX on my HERMS and it works fine, so it should work fine in a RIMS setup.

First water test It works, curious of how to set the pid (use it on element on off mode or use the ramp up and down mode?)

Brewed a IPA with the RIMS tube worked sweet the 1500 watt element worked really good at maintaining temp all and all I am pretty happy ready for the next brew. ImageUploadedByHome Brew1387643612.394233.jpg
Fly sparging worked well also now there is nothing left to do but wait for the yeast to do its job and make me some good beer.
