Make your own PID controller shield for the Arduino Uno (and compatible boards). Can be used as a standalone controller or remotely operated by USB connection to your laptop running a graphical interface. Upgraded firmware based on Bret Beauregard's osPID. All fully documented with parts, diagrams, code, and pictures. Parts cost about $15, external SSR module and Arduino required.

I spun this project as a kit for Tayda, with the idea that all the components could be cheaply ordered in one place. Another way to go would be to adapt one of the very cheap LCD shields that are available.
