Dextrose shelf life??

So I have this dextrose that is over a year old. You think It's still fine? I was going to use it to prime my Apfelwein. Oh and also it sat in the car for 2 days and got really hot. Is it still okay to use?

it's sugar. You could use it 100 years from now.

I have a five pound bag of it that's probably more than two years old. It's sugar, it won't go bad.

It's shelf-life is 2-5 years if sealed well. It's breakdown products are CO2 and water.
