Damn Hummingbirds

They keep emptying their feeder every single night. Except these hummingbirds look kind of strange to me, and I cant quite put my finger on what it is about them.

I think one night I may put homebrew in there and watch them fly into the tree

When I lived down in Houston, we had a big pine forest right behind our subdivision. It was always fun to watch the bats fly during a full moon.

Cool picture! I didn't know they would eat that, thought they were carnivores. We used to have some in a field behind the house and it was always fun to throw stuff in the air and watch them divebomb it around dusk.

Man, that is an AWESOME shot. My folks (u know) live there too, and were having the same issue til they figured out what was emptying the feeder... I got to see a couple of them hit it one night as well but not like that!

You need to keep them out of your birdfeeders so they'll eat the mosquitos and other bugs. Bats are cool.

Bats are awesome. I seem to recall that the bats in Missouri eat their own weight every night in mosquitos and other bugs. I'd like to have some of those guys taking care of the mosquitos in my yard. I get eaten alive when I brew.

That is an awesome picture. Bats are cool, as is anything else that eats lots of mosquitos. Hell, they probably deserve a homebrew. If they go back to eating the mosquitos, that is.
