I will be using Cryo Hops for the first time , I plan on using them in my hop stand . My question is ... if I add them to the kettle will a fine mesh strainer catch the Cryo powder when I transfer from kettle to fermenter . Or should I put them in a hop bag .. I am also thinking of adding some to the dry hop , which will definitely be in a hop bag

Just toss em in, both the kettle and fermenter. I’ve never had a problem with them carrying over. I just brewed an IPA which will get 2 oz of Cryo dry hop and 1 oz pellets. I do cold crash my dry hopped beers so no guarantees if you plan on skipping a cold crash.

Just brewed a saison with only Citra and Mosaic Cryo hops in the whirlpool. Can't wait to try this one! Bubbling away with DuPont and Belle Saison
