This is a partial mash recipie

3 lbs 2 row malt
1 lb chocolate malt
1 lb black patent malt
1/2 lb barley
1/2 lb crystal 60L
1 lb flaked oatmeal
3 oz DME
1 oz fuggle hops
1 oz kent golding hops

If you are looking for critical feedback it would help immensely if you told us what you were trying to make. One question: is the 3 oz of DME correct or is that a misprint and should it be 3 lb? One critique: at 2 lbs the dark malt seems a little over the top. With 3 lbs of DME it's 20% of the ingredients and with 3 oz of DME it's close to 30%. Something closer to 10% would be in the ballpark for a typical porter or stout. Second question: what is the hop schedule and yeast?

Sorry 3 lbs of DME

.... and what style of beer is this supposed to be? I am guessing an oatmeal stout?

... and what about the hop schedule?

what is "1/2 lb barley"? Is that supposed to be ROASTED barley?

Regardless of these other things, I would back WAY off on the 1lb of black patent. Using that much is going to give a harsh bitterness/acidic flavor to the beer.

I use 1, maybe 2, oz of that when I want to darken the color of a beer a little. I never use more than 4 oz because the flavor of it really starts to come through, and that's not necessarily a good thing.
