Darn....I knew I should've kept that one! Hold onto the HB for another week or so. Not quite carbed up yet(was hoping for close to 3 volumes).

One of the Brewers at Great North is an old coworker...that Porter is great.

I love that those Berliners come in 3 flavors.

Let me know what you think!

Oh and the HB is a slightly citrusy wheat...it's darker that it tastes(it was a tribute to my late orange cat...came out too dark) any suggestions on improving it are welcome. Trying to refine it to be one of my house ales, and be very approachable light beer for non beer drinkers

Uhhhh a quick list for now. I mostly just want some good beer :] Sours and big stouts are my preferred, followed by hoppy styles, Belgians, and everything else. Nothing I really don't like if it's made well.

Funkwerks

Rare Barrel

Creature Comforts

Pizza Port

Tired Hands

Cigar City

Jackie O's

Toppling Goliath

Pliny

Jester King

****!ng good beer!

Stuff I can't get in NH or MA really.

Additions:

Pipe works

FFF

Modern Times

Crooked Stave

Other stuff from Russian River(particularly wild stuff)

The Bruery

Any good local sours/bretts I'm missing

Nice big stouts...

A few good homebrews could be awesome too.

EDIT: Creature Comforts too

I am going to Creature Comforts on Saturday as well a Terrapin. I am for sure getting some Tropicalia. I cannot guarantee anything else from the list, but will see if I can score some Westbrook as it is distributed in GA.

I'll update once I get there.

Athena, Bibo, Automatic, and Tropicalia should be pretty easy to find around Athens. I'm not sure about Westbrook in Athens, but Gose, IPA, and one claw are all over the ATL area. You may get lucky and get some Emergence of Brettomattic from Creature Comforts also if they haven't sold out.

Also, check out 5 points bottle shop, they may have Tritonia available for growler fills (cucumber/lime Gose from Creature Comforts)

In that case I will grant this given that @val214 doesn't mind waiting a week or so for shipment.

Is Terrapin worth a visit?

I visit a lot of breweries and have lived in GA for 5 years and surprisingly haven't been to Terrapin yet. If they have a special event maybe, if not, I may just hit a beer bar. I am also not a huge terrapin fan other than Wake'n'Bake.

Southern Brewing Company is a newer one that I have heard has good stuff, but haven't been there yet either.

Glad everything made it. Enjoy the homebrews they are all ready to go.

Cheers!
FYI.
Just got word that the hibiscus saison placed first for spiced beer and the first Brett batch #2 placed second for american wild beer at the Hanger24 homebrew comp.

Awesome! Can't wait to try them. Just have to squirrel it away somewhere because a couple days ago SWMBO told me I should drink some of the beer I already have before I buy more. Oh well I'll just have to hide it and move it into the fridge one by one.
