Come on...you can make it out there during lunch.

They're actually pretty quick about growler fills. I'm stopping by tonight, should be in and out.

Hmmm, wonder how much that cab ride would be lol
I take Septa to work, so taking the train up there and back would be available, but lengthy. My only real option is taking a drive during the weekend with the wife and kids in tow.

Arizona wilderness
Modern times
Snake river- Pakos
Heretic
New glarus - fruit or sours

Anyone who is looking to grant and is a virgin.. I would like anything I cant get in kc mo . Thanks!

I'm actually just North of Seattle in an adjacent suburb these days but grew up next to the Univ. of Washington and lived in Ballard when Redhook was still a local brewery.

I'm not a finicky beer drinker and have a varied pallet but don't tend drink many lagers beyond the occasional Baltic Porter. I've got pretty good access to hop forward brews and the crop is grown half a day's drive away. There's not many sasions and sours being brewed locally but I can get most West Coast beers (for example my local grocery store has Lost Abbey on the shelf). I also like cider and mead. Send me something interesting from your region and I'll be happy to have it.

I'm in the southwest corner of the state, about an hour from Portland. My girlfriend lives in Woodinville so I'm up that way a few times a month. I really love the beer selection up there. Black Raven, Dirty Bucket, Foggy Noggin and Brickyard are all making some great beers up there. And you can't go wrong with Elysian, Fremont or Georgetown. Cheers!

Got bombed today by NuclearRich!!!

Homebrews on the left:
Coffee Porter (green label)
Wildrice Saison (plain bottle, super excited for this one).
Cider (not pictured, had note about bottle bomb if not cold...straight into the fridge)

Rich, you killed it! Thank you so much! I can't wait to kick this cold and break into these.

Ok, I'm back home now and nobody's responded to send me something cool that's not a light lager I'll try actually writing out a list.

  • Any sour, gueuze, kriek (except Transatlantique Kriek), or your favorite local Belgain style ale
  • Any bourbon barrel aged beer that you like
  • Any well regarded beer with coffee
  • Any good local cider from the Midwest or Northeast

Not much of a light lager or hefe. fan but otherwise I'm pretty easy to please. I enjoy strong flavors whether they be hops, malty, fruity, or sour.

I will grant this.

Yeah ghandi is tough to find and i live 10mins from nebco. I did just fill a 32oz growler if anyone wants to to an easy tired hands or toppling goliath growler swap...
But that's why I included it. Because this place is awesome and even though its hard to get even as a local, im happy to spread the love even when its not asked for.

That house beer is brewery only from allagash and great easy drinking stuff.
I also am loving that new release from captain Lawrence. Seeking alpha is seriously nice!

Enjoy!

Sorry, I had to go out to get some beer to send!

Here's what I'm thinking:

Anything tasty from the state of Vermont. Not limited to beer
Really, that goes for the entire Northeast, with the exception of the likes of Allagash, which I love but I'm looking for stuff that I cannot find at my corner store
Any Surly
Any Minneapolis Town Hall
Any Cascade
Any (tasty) local/regional sours not sold around Los Angeles--this would exclude Jolly Pumpkin, New Belgium, and Allagash, but I can't think of other domestic sours outside of my state area that are sold around here.
Any Cigar City
Any Jester King
Any Kuhnhenn
Any Great Lakes
Any New Glarus -- I recall having a taste of something one time years ago and that was the only beer from them I've ever tasted.
Any good meads. Doesn't have to be commercial, in fact, in my experience that's a bad thing.
Any tasty, fresh milds. It's such a hard style to find good commercial examples of.
Anything I didn't think of that you think I really need to try

I can grant this. PM sent w/ shipping time contingency question.

OK I have two PMs in my inbox this morning. banesong sent me a PM at 2:36am but didn't post in the thread, and then nickfern posted in the thread and sent me a PM about 3 hours later.

I am new to the thread so I don't quite get what's supposed to happen in this situation, but I'm inclined to let banesong take it since he got skipped just before.
