haha thanks guys, and believe me, I have racks of german beers at my house and enjoy to go out and hang around at the local restaurants. My big thing is I like to try and make these beers while I am here, also a couple from back home I cannot get from here. So if I go back to the states one day, I will be able to make the same beers I liked here. It is funny, everytime I go to a new town I go into the stores and look for beers I have not yet had and bring them back with me. Hard life right

FYI my wort never goes dull. It's always glassy and bright.

Recently made a batch of beer with the power turned way down and the wort looked similar to yours during the boil instead of the duller look I am used to.
