New Park Brewing doing their first can release today... can't wait to see this **** show.
I'm sure it'll sell out quickly, but 1 4pk of each beer (varieties that have been pretty readily available too, right) might keep the **** show to a minimum.

But I'm sure it'll bring out plenty of people who have never visited before because 16 oz cans are the ultimate sign of a quality beer
Was this most people's thoughts? I wanted to make it down but we hosted our first Thanksgiving this year and it was too much to make the trek to Two Roads. Was considering ISOing...
It's fine, but not remarkable. Basically all acidic fruit and no funk.
I share this take. Lamnic seemed to enjoy it more than we did. Probably won't open my bottles for a while...

FWIW cloudscape is damn good and the price point on growlers is waaay higher then on cans. Will try and get there after work if cans are still around (super doubtful)

Just drove by 10 min ago. Line is long. Probably over 100 deep. I just kept driving. Without knowing how quickly they can process can purchases, it just wast worth it
Thank you for checking back here, saves me a little of my life
Also, I owe you a beer one of these days my man!

lol, yeah, was a mess there. No parking... just coulding stomach it. Also, they also recently posted on facebook "234 allocates", which i am assuming that means that there are 234 in line?

Saw one post saying they got through ~30 minutes after opening, but I assume that means they were at the front of the line. Some folks guessing 90 mins with the 2 registers they're using.

OMG, 2 registers?!? That's exactly what i was afraid of... that's not going to move very fast.

Any of you folk had beer from Hanging Hills? They brewed an IPA for one of my favorite bands and just curious if it's any good

Hey guys, any suggestions beer/brewery from the Port Chester, NY to Norwalk (maybe as far as Fairfield) area along 95? I'll be in the area today and may need to kill some time.

Hey CoinStarChange , if u still need a tip; Cask Republic is in Stamford, close to I-95, has a solid tap list and a few nice things on the bottle list as well. 1 1/2 miles north of there is Coalhouse Pizza, good pie, huge draft list that generally has a few to several great options. And in Port Chester, never been, but a place called Coals Pizza has a smallish but good draft list and heard the food is pretty good as well.
As for breweries, Half Full is very close to downtown Stamford in a typical "industrial area", but the beer is very meh. There is a new brewery in Stamford called Lock City in a quieter 'hood called Springdale. Never had any of their beer, but hear from friends that it is ok, nothing special. Seems like they are trying to ride the coat tails of the NE IPA trend. LSS, go to Cask Republic :)

Ended up at Spigot Beer in Norwalk. Placed opened up 5 weeks ago, small place, no-frills, pretzels to snack on. Really good tap list (Counterweight Headway/Relic The Mage/Sloop Rosé/Kent Falls/cans of SoS), but a tad pricey as 16oz crowlers to go were $10. I'll definitely be back there in the future, but will likely pass on the crowlers next time. Thanks for the recommendations, I'll save them for next time Phin mcwalsh

Ha! I was gonna suggest this place so you could check it out for me. Decided not to mention it because the prices seem to suck.

I can't imagine myself ever buying one of those 16 oz crowlers.
