Definitely more interested in the Fox Farm release this weekend, hoping to still be able to grab a full allotment Saturday a.m.

STFU. We don't have much left dude. New Again the last time I had it was on par with any Hill saison if not better. Fite me.

Wait, I ****** up. Fox Farm sucks. No one should go to there. Ever. It's the worst. And so far out of the way.

****. Fine, all you MA and NY ******** that need another brewery to care about: Fox Farm is ******* awesome. Go there. You'll enjoy it.

I hate myself.

CT folk,

Non-beer releated question. I will be heading to Maine on Wednesday for vacation. The fam and I are going our usual route - Tappan Zee Bridge -> Merritt Pkwy -> etc, etc

My kids are 4 and 1, and it would be great to find a stop off the Merritt Pkwy where they could stretch their legs out a bit and maybe get some energy out. Do you know of any Playgrounds or things of that nature that aren't too far off of the highway, where we could kill 30 mins? If there aren't any options, I guess a Mickey D's Play Place will do in a pinch, but would rather avoid that germ-infested hellhole.

Also, since I will be stopping off the Merritt Pkwy in CT, what is the official dress code for this time of year? Will they kick me out if I don't have chinos, a half-tucked-in polo, boat shoes, and sunglasses with that strap thing around my head?

Bassett Park in Hamden is probably... I dunno, 8-10 min off 15. Nice big open park, huge playground. Probably a good place to sit and eat lunch too!

Yes. Best of luck.

I found a playground in Trumbull, but I cannot visit unless I am a resident. CT is not helping out its image here. Maybe me and my ilk will be welcome in New Haven...and not the Yale part.

Looking like Waveny Park in New Canaan may be the place. No slides and stuff, but room to run.

I ninja-edited another recommendation into my original post. Not the best way to do it, so just pinging you here in case you missed it!

MooseLang Waveny Park is really close to the MP & is a nice park. Lots of space and never over-crowded. It also has a dog run if anyones pooch wants to get some exercise. A great place to stretch your legs.

Cranberry/Gallagher Park in Norwalk is near the Merritt and also has a playground. May be charging $5 these days but it is beautiful and a great place to let the kids run around.

Thanks! Looks like I'll play it by ear and choose between Waveny and this one. We'll see if the kids would rather see the dogs at the dog park or would prefer a playground.

Man...gone are the days where I would look for beer-centric stops on my annual MD-ME journey.

I should note that Cranberry also has a very active dog park as well - and a killer disc golf course if you are into that sort of thing

Just heard from him, he’s ok and will be on tonight or tomorrow morning.

Needless to say, but lambandtunaphish is the man and I’m sure he’ll be back and come through on any communications. Cheers

For sure that's true. Many are just worried about him. Thanks for your help!

Lines up, then, with honeymoon and all that. I wonder if he went with Hawaii, I know he was thinking about it. I loved it there and am so totally jealous of jmgrub now.

Glad you had a good trip man! Did you make it to any of the breweries?

I assume the vog wasn't an issue all the way on Oahu?

Had dinner at Kona Brewing in Hawaii Kai, but that's it. There was a brewery in Kailua that I meant to check out but never did. My wife's all was all burny one morning, she blamed vog but who knows.
