Not liking that post. But thanks for the info.

Any connecticut TB'ers around tomorrow? Grabbing a couple beers at 2 roads in the afternoon then hanging in that area for a bit. Possibly hitting Aspetuck Brew Lab. Would love to meet up with some random Internet peeps! Any recommendations on where to drink some g-bot/get some good food also greatly appreciated.

The Crafty Monk in Bridgeport, right down the street from Aspetuck Brew Lab, seems to have had Bot and Double Fuzzy on yesterday, so you can probably try that. I've never been, so I can't vouch for the food at all. Walrus + Carpenter is also right there, but I'm reluctant to suggest a BBQ place to someone from Texas ;) They should have a good draft list too.

Craft 260 in Fairfield is also close and has pretty good food and seem to have some good draft options now. Happy hour is 330-630 and I think they take a few bucks off most beers (they used to do half price beers, but I can't tell if they still do).

What time are you going to be at the breweries? Probably can't make it down there... unless my softball game tonight gets cancelled.

Looking to get to two roads around 2, but that's the only solid plan we have today.

Thanks for the recommendations also! Will definitely convince my cousin to go to crafty monk. If you are around shoot me a message! Im here until Monday but staying in the glastonbury area.

I'll be at Brew Labs after work this afternoon. If that lines up with your schedule say hi!

I have a feeling most of the CT folks are going to be at Two Roads on Saturday morning for the sour release. I'm booked up tonight but will be showing up relatively early for that and I'd be shocked if there weren't a few more TB folks around as well.

What time do people show up for these releases? Any chance it makes it into the afternoon?

No real clue. Generally there's a line forming by 9 or so at the latest. I'm not totally sure but I think Hexotic, the last lambic style sour, was gone by 1 or 2 in the afternoon.
The only thing I'd add is that Hexotic probably lasted a bit longer than I'm anticipating Framboise Noir will, as it had less hype behind it and was released on the same day NEBCO's reopening and an OEC Experimentalis release. I imagine the other two bottles being released tomorrow may last a fair bit longer though.

If you guys feel like stopping in New Haven on your way home, let me know. Might be able to grab a quick beer before the gf gets home...

If anybody has more bottle shippers than they know what to do with, I'd happily take some off your hands.

Abitker prolly has a bunch of the padded ones where the bottles lay flat. Pretty nice.

Edit - if he doesn't, I have 2 he gave me that you can have if you're ever down this way.

I have this

I don't find myself down that way too often because I hate 91/15 but I can find an excuse. I would like to hit the new NebCo location one of these days, been too long since I've had G-Bot.
