Two Roads always gets people worked up, but at this point it seems kind of pointless. They market their beer without shame and that looks like the way it's going to be.

Urban Funk was pretty good and probably my favorite beer from them so I'm looking forward to the gueuze and kriek.

If it's anything like the 5k Brewfest (which it looks like it is), they'll give you the glass as you're leaving and when you're there they'll give you a plastic taster cup. Presumably it's a measure to avoid broken glass taster glasses. I'd much prefer to get a legit glass for home use than yet another useless glass taster to that only serves to clutter up my cabinets.

I really have no problem with them. I mainly post their stuff here to troll Dino. Some of my friends seem to enjoy their beer a lot. I tried raining on their parade once, but now I don't bother. I do like the session IPA and bought a bunch of that over the summer.

Urban Funk was quite good. Also enjoyed the session IPA. Not worth waiting in line for a 375mL bottle though

Plan B west hartford will be tapping it next wed at 6PM and backstage in torrington will have the OC brewer tapping ti, forgot the date though. Picking up a 4pk shortly in my area, hope its as good as I remember

Cask Republic in New Haven will be featuring many great Connecticut breweries on draft including 2 cask conditioned ales from New England Brewing Co. and Back East Brewing Co.

Mikro also has a Founders night on Wednesday, 14 of their beers on tap. Not CT beer, but whatever.

Prime 16 New Haven also putting on a bunch of CT beers on Tuesday, so New Haven might be an OK place to go tomorrow night.

From their release last spring, they tweeted that everything was sold out at 2pm or so. No idea when you had to be in line to secure bottles though.
That was 690 each of 3 bottles, 2pp... so a similar size to this.

I've been to two of their releases. The 1st Igor and the recent one in the Spring. The Igor one you needed to be in line before opening (although a lot of that was for anticipation of the first release Two Roads) whereas the Spring release you just needed to show up before two. There were still bottles available around 2 and they decided to stop selling since it was clear people were done showing up for the release and they didn't want their staff to man the booth if they didn't need to. Granted, they didn't have too many cases left, but I'd call it a very soft "sell out." I had a friend show up around 1:30 and he walked right up and got his bottles.

Get there around 11 and you will be ok.
