Did this get released in CT?

I was in Oslo, Norway last week and they had cases of it at the Vinmonopolet. Speculation among friends is that it is the base beer for Igor's Dream?

Thought it was pretty good but not outstanding. I was more surprised that I had never heard of it. Ultimately I was pretty stoked to see a CT brew for sale abroad! I actually saw Two Roads beers at quite a few beer bars in Oslo as well which was pretty cool.

Not sure if it's the base for Igor (I did see someone say that it is on Facebook, but who knows).

It was brewed for export to Europe first and a slightly lower ABV version is being released here in October.

Connecticut I will be in you Fri/Sat, looks like I stumbled into an OEC bottle release, anything else going on this weekend?

anybody going up to Hill farmstead this week? Id love to split an allotment of convivial and would kick back some extra cash for gas or nice bottles for the favor? let me know

Between sticking that stupid giant sticker that was impossible to get off on my growler the only time I went to the brewery, their questionable barrel aging techniques and calling their beers "Lambic series" and "Gueuze" I feel like they're actively trying to make me dislike them. Why Phil, why?

I think I'd be able to get it done if pushed to, but does anyone have direct contact with Phil Markowski? I'm a fan of his overall and though I haven't loved everything pushed out of Two Roads the brewery, I have been pretty impressed with the operation as a whole.

Ultimately, I think it would be awesome to have an AMA with Phil Markowski, as he is one of the best brewers in the US and is right in our backyard. Anybody able to help here?

Please let this happen so I can ask him why he's calling his beer lambic

Yeah I honestly don't understand the names. The only brewery allowed to have beers named "kreik" and "gueuze" is Cantillon. Then again... 2R is making so much money these days, maybe they're building a barn in Bridgeport for brewing nothing but spontaneous fermented beers. That lovely sea air sure would make some unique beers :D

Just saw that too. For that list $25 is right on target too. Especially if you are looking to nurse a cheap hangover

Ha, that is probably the first time I've ever seen a beer fest on a weekday, but it looks pretty spot on besides that. Looks like pretty much all the same breweries that were at the New Haven 5k + beerfest, which was very good.

Here's the glass for the event. I didn't buy tickets, since it's too hard for me to get there for 6pm after work. They tweeted that they're down to the last few dozen tickets.
