I saw that on the other site. I find it hard to believe, as last weekend they were making a big stink about just entering the Baltimore market, and they're right there. So DC Brau is here now. Porter, Pale, Belgian and IPA I guess.
Replied to someone on Twitter that official rollout is Feb 1.I saw that on the other site. I find it hard to believe, as last weekend they were making a big stink about just entering the Baltimore market, and they're right there.
Seems random, not familiar with their distribution. How many States do they hit? Assume CT is northernmost state.
Justin Blabaer at Willowbrook in Cromwell. Not sure if this beer is difficult to find or relatively limited but first time seeing it on shelf in CT. Lots of other Evil Twin garbage available too.
Shelf beer, and not tasty. The wine barrel aged version is tasty though.Justin Blabaer at Willowbrook in Cromwell. Not sure if this beer is difficult to find or relatively limited but first time seeing it on shelf in CT. Lots of other Evil Twin garbage available too.
I had a small sample of it at Harvest... started off really nice, but the finish was really strange. Lingered way too long... full disclosure though, I am a lot harder 2roads than most, just not a fan of themHas anyone given the Two Roads Rye-95 a try? I'm not willing to drop $13 + tax + deposit on one of their six packs if it's not worth it. A rye tripel doesn't inspire confidence, either.
McLadden's Irish Publick House
Founders Brewing Company fans: tonight is the night! We have a very special all Founders rare beer flight. Featuring: 2012 Breakfast Stout, Sweet Repute, Backwoods Bastard & a very special VERY RARE (not available anywhere else in New England) special selection that you will have to come down to find out about. Tapping starts at 6pm.
Was there tonight. The very special brew was Boilermaker... also, all the beers listed in the advertisement are only available in a $17 beer flight. You cannot purchase a full serving of any one of them. For shame.McLadden's Irish Publick House

Thanks for posting, wish I saw earlier.
Slightly related opinion - craft is getting obnoxious with all the limited releases and rare offerings. Consumers are that fickle? I would show for a simple list of Centennial, Dirty and Porter. Was just reading Yankee Brew News and that seemed to be the prevalent theme this month as well.
Not surprised that McLadden's would market it as such.Ha! That **** was all over NY a few months ago! What a joke!
I can see that...Not surprised that McLadden's would market it as such.
Their motto: the most beer choices, with the most inflated prices.
Gansett better be on the lookout as well...
Not sure about any events coming up at this point for that weekend.I'm going to be in the Hartford area 3/8-9... anything beer related things going on then? I certainly not opposed to a solo drive down to NEBCO, just thought I'd ask in case there was a cool tap takeover or something.
