Well $8 for 10oz of the BCBS and the barleywine isn't a terrible price, so hopefully the bottle prices are on your side today.
Stopped into McLaddens today and found out that the bottles that were listed in the FB post were brought by a GI rep and were only available last night. I guess they literally only had one bottle of the Coffee stout, which they poured some samples from. For shame. They still had all 5 of the drafts available, so I had the Barleywine and the BCBS. And i agree, $8 for 10oz is a great price, especially considering they typically charge $9 for 10oz of gandhi-bot

Any info on bottles of Bourbon County BW or Coffee? Still getting conflicting reports. Know someone who works for central CT distributor and he had no knowledge. Posting on another site indicates BW is in southeast CT.

Supposedly that's true. No word on Backyard or Coffee yet.

BW is/was on tap at McLadden's in West Hartford for a few days not that long ago.

Not much going on in CT these days without NEBCO these days, it seems.

Amity got in a bunch of Victory Ranch and DirtWolf yesterday, I guess that's something new...

Do you know which distributors cover each county? The guy I refrenced is at HDI. I have a Middlesex store contacting Dicello rep. Not sure what happens in New London.

Facebook post from Loading Dock says BW on Friday and no idea regarding Coffee. So I guess that's the New Haven county heads up.
Edit - sounds like some places already have both.

Coffee seems to have hit Hartford County on Monday. CT Bev Mart in New Britian (by West Farms) has some, Harvest has some too. Both are 1 bottle limits at $6.99 and don't have much left. Parkview in West Hartford expects some on Friday or Tuesday. Max Bev said they got some on Monday but didn't know if they still had some and were too busy to check for me...

Jeez, seems like I missed the boat on it hitting Hartford county. 1 bottle limit is kind of a boner. I get it, but it sucks from a consumer standpoint.
Trading for one or two 4packs seems like it is worth the trouble in this situation...

Bought a single each of coffee and BW and then a 4pk of barleywine last night, after the BA thread blew up some places I had hoped to go. Seems like people are only grabbing coffee and leaving BW behind at stores that got 1 case of each.
Any sightings in Fairfield county yet?

Their loss. BW is freaking awesome.

No help for Fairfield County but stopped in Bristol this morning, store received 1 case of each on Monday, gone same day. Will check Southington area at lunch. Seems like surrounding states got flooded and CT got the shaft.

Delaney's in New Haven has lost their liquor license for selling to an undercover minor. I don't see any indication of how long it will last
Wow. It says they "will not be serving booze on Jan 21"... Does it not kick in until then?
They just posted an event yesterday for Jan 17 with a bunch of stouts...
Friday January 17th Delaneys will be featuring 10 amazing stouts!! Narragansett Coffee Milk Stout, New England Stout Trooper, Game of Thrones Black Stout, White Birch Rusalka Stout, Captain Lawrence Rum Aged Imperial Stout, Founders Breakfast Stout, 2007 Dogfish Head World Wide Stout, 2010 Ten Fidy, 2012 Bourbon County, and a Blue Point Blueberry Imperial Stout never before made cask! Make sure you do not miss the night!!

That's REALLY ******. I like that place. Not super surprised though. It's right next to the college.

This is one of the reason's it's really ******.

Wow, I guess I read that as the liquor license wasn't suspended until starting January 21st and lasting indefinitely. 1 day? That's not a big deal at all (or maybe it is? it is a saturday)

Appreciate the heads up. Other stores in Norwalk said not yet.

Yeah, I got the same response when I called around.

I only found out that Total received it as I had originally just walked in to browse the bourbon/rye section. Saw another guy walking around with a 4pk and had to do a double-take.

EDIT: Also, a ton of Sweet Repute for $15....if anyone is into that sorta thing.

I picked up some BC Coffee and Barleywine at Amity in New Haven today. Selling 2 bottles of each max. They also had Midnight Brett and Doughnut Biscotti Break.

The BA thread was pretty hilarious. Death threats over BCBS variants... and the thread is locked now.

I really enjoyed the part where the CTBeerPope was getting all aggressive and **** (especially with Dino).

Didn't come across as particularly pious in that respect.
Yeah I blame Dino for that thread derailment ;)

But seriously, every store needs to start allocating 50% of limited releases to their best customers and 50% as shelfturds. Best system ever guys.o_O

Anyone going tonight? Might try to stop in around 7, but it depends when I get out of work/traffic/blah blah blah.
