Up for sale is my 5-12 gallon propane/electric complete brewing system. Three 16 gallon Bayou Classic kettles, controller, 2 pumps, stainless table, burner, all weldless fittings with appropriate Camlocks, Camlock hoses and ball valves included. Asking $1,000 and will also throw in the BIA Basket for days when you want to brew fast.
Hot Liquor Tank
16 gallon Bayou Classic kettle with a 5500W ULWD element putting out 1350W using the 120V controller. The element is installed using 1.5” weldless TC Bulkhead and tri-clamp.
A ½” 50ft SS HERMS coil is installed with input and output valve installed to control the flow. An inlet whirlpool ball valve and outlet fittings are also installed to prevent hot spots from happening.
Mash Tun
16 gallon Bayou Classic kettle with a ½” ID high-temp silicone tubing on the inlet for recirculating the mash and sparging that is attached via Camlock fittings. Also includes a Bayou Classic false bottom that sits flush in the kettle.
Boil Kettle
16 gallon Bayou Classic kettle with a Spin Cycle weldless whirlpool arm. The whirlpool arm has a 14” arm and will work for 5 and 10 gallon batches. Additionally, a hop screen is attached to the outlet elbow to keep hop matter out of you fermenter.
Control Panel
Temperatures are controlled using a BRAND NEW Inkbird IPB-16 15A Digital Pre-Wired PID Temperature Controller Thermostat. A twist lock l6-30 cable connects the HLT element to the controller. A detachable Camlock t-fitting holds the temp probe and can be placed inline where you would like to take a reading. The controller is mounted to the table behind the HLT making it easy to reach and out of the way.
This controller has a lot of potential and can be modified to meet your needs. The powered alarm output can be used to turn your pumps on and off. Posts on here suggest that with $30 of wiring and parts, this controller can be upgraded to run on 240V.
Setup
The HLT and the MT sit on top of a sturdy stainless table for mashing. A Bayou Classic KAB6 is used to heat the HLT water, strike water and then the boil. This is the stronger and more sturdy version of the KAB4.
Pumps
Includes two Keg King MKII wort pumps with stainless steel center inlet. Ball valves are used on the outlet port to regulate the flow. One pump is not pictured but will be included.
Hoses
Includes 5 high temp 1/2” ID silicone hose lines to make appropriate connections. All camlocks included.
