Colloidal silver for brewing water

I put some water in a water deposit, but after a while it get some smell, the water tastes good but i dont like the smell. I was told that colloidal silver will get rid of the smell. If I use that water for brewind will the colloidal silver kill the yeast? I am suposed to use 19 drops of the solution per 5 galons of water.
