Cold crash IPA in a ice bath?

I don't have room in my refrigerator to put a bucket in there so I'm wondering if I can put it in a cooler and fill up said cooler with ice and leave it for 24-36 hours to help settle out some of the hop sediment from dry hopping?
 
That's basically the same thing I do. For fermentation, I have my carboy in a water-filled 12-gallon rope-handled tub with an aquarium heater inside. For cold crashing, I add frozen water bottles on a rotating basis for a few days, which is pretty much what you're suggesting, just in a different vessel.
 
Bath tub works well too with ice, depending on the width of your fermemter...
