A couple months back, my wife adjusted the temperature on my kegerator to make it a bit colder. Unfortunately, she ended up with the keg that was in the back and closest to the elements freezing on us. Turned into a big raspberry wheat slushy. I adjusted the thermostat, and it thawed out over a period of a couple days. However, it never tasted the same, and I ended up tossing the last 2 gallons.

Others may have had a different experience, so yours might be okay.

I did that once before and the finished result tasted like a thinner version than it should have been. Mine was decent enough, not great mind you, but decent.

Thanks guys! Gonna let it ride for a while and see how it ends up. First impression is I don't think it will get better, but we will see. I was looking forward to that one because I hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe late hops.

Your ABV (ethanol) will be higher, along with the nasty higher alcohols.

Congratulations, you are now a "distiller".
