Ive got some rust on the inside of an old keggle. Ive used PBW on it and brought out the elbow grease and a green scrubber. Ive seen some mentions of Bar Keepers friend, but CLR seems to be more available around here.

Does anyone have experience with using CLR for this type of thing? Thanks!

Not sure on the use of CLR. But to help you find a can of BKF, check your local cookware stores. Williams-Sonoma and Bed, Bath & Beyond actually carry it because All-Clad recommends it for their cookware. Although, I'm sure its overpriced there. I usually just buy it from Safeway.

Palmer talks about using BKF to "repassivate" the stainless (his word not mine!) after removing any surface rust. Something about it have oxalic acid. He talks about it in the BrewStrong metals show. I'd look into polishing the rusty part and then hitting it with BKF.

for others, I've found BKF at Menard's and other home improvement places too.
