Cleaning Anvil Foundry

I'm excited and ready to prep the new Anvil for its use. As far as cleaning it, is it OK to circulate PBW and Starsan through the pump? Any other recommendations for cleaning it? Thank you for your advice.

Manual actually mentions PBW and BK. You'll be able to run PBW and Star San through the pump w/o issue.

In fact...(cuzz I just checked) if you were to goto Blichmann's site and read the manual on the Riptide pump, they suggest doing exactly what you're asking.

The fittings include non-steel materials, looks like silicone, teflon, and plastic. Is Bar Keepers Friend safe on these materials?

No. Barkeepers a friend is for metal surfaces. Other things would be cleaned with PBW or a similar cleaner.
