Hi everyone, before I ventured into the mead community I made a lot of hard cider / apple wine. Many of these I added other berries to, and most had an alcohol of about 10-14 %. Anyway I have been trying some of these over the past weeks and am amazed at how horrible I feel the next day. Usually in can drink mead, beer and bourbon without I’ll affect, however while drinking these Homebrew apple wines I got flushed, dizzy, and frankly really drunk after consuming a small amount. Is this perhaps due to fusels or acetaldehyde? Some of these earlier batches did not have great nutrition nor temperature control

If the liquid gets too warm during fermentation, the yeast produces lots of fusels which create hangovers of death. No way to save these drinks I'm afraid.
