I started a lambic back in July 2018 using Wyeast 3278 and a turbid mash, it has been in the primary since.

Today I added (3) 14.5 oz cans of Oregon Tart Cherries directly you the primary. After doing so it struck me that maybe the Brett aren’t active enough to scavenge the oxygen in the headspace. Anyone have any experience with this?

Also what are the thoughts on the amount of cherries? I figured I’d start small and let it ride then taste after a few weeks but input is nice if anyone has made a similar beer.

Right, generally you should add some fresh Saccharomyces if it's been sitting that long. You risk oxidation and THP formation without fresh Sacc.
