Checking Oxygen in the wort

Is there a way to check or a gadget that will check the O2 levels in the chilled wort. Can I use a Aquarium oxygen text kit???????

Dissolved O2 meters are pricey. I've seen them for around $300 or so. An aquarium test kit might work, but I'd be concerned about the color of the wort affecting the results if it's a strip or titration deal.
