Anyone know of a mini fridge without a freezer or with a removable freezer for around $150? I currently have a modified haier mini fridge that fits a half barrel keg but it's a very tight squeeze with the freezer so I am looking to get a new one. I know about the Danby 4.4 with no freezer and the Frigidaire 4.4 with the removable freezer but I am not seeing much else so I figured I'd ask before dropping $180 + on one of those. Craigslist isn't yielding many results in my area and a full size fridge is out of the question since I live in an apartment. I also may post my build if anyone is interested, I haven't seen much on mini fridge half barrel conversion and thought it might come in handy.

I'd vote for the Danby, Walmart will deliver to your house for no extra charge. I got lucky and found one on CL in primo condition for $100. The twin tap tower arrives next week.... :ban:

Ya, I may end up doing that, do you think you could do me a favor and give me the interior dimensions of the fridge, and maybe a couple of pics of the hot coils and compressor in the back? I need measurements from the front of the fridge to the hump, from the front to the back, from top to bottom, and side to side.

cakes,
Sorry for the delay, been busy. Here's the general interior info:

- 29" high, 27" in the center where the thermostat and light mount on the roof.
- 16.5" wide, almost 18" if you trim away the molded-in bottom shelf support.
- 16" deep to the cold plate on the back wall.
- 10" from the front to the hump after you remove the front door cubby and replace with a flat sheet.

It won't fit two commercial 1/6bbls, but will handle two Cornies and CO2 without trimming the shelf support. It handles a single 1/6bbl no prob. Easy to modify, here's a good reference:
