The quarantine warden is reluctant to let me leave this morning. He won’t even look me in the face.

Being a cat owner for 30 years, when a cat spreads and lies on his/her back, my guess is that it's a cooling pose to expose surface area. Can't prove it though. It could also just be a bold dating move.Beware the ferocious tiger roar (or awkward yawn). And he’s the dignified one.
We've been cat-less for almost a year now. Hops went out to the front porch and disappeared one nigh last August-she probably became owl food. Here are a couple of the last pics we have of her. She was very coyote savvy, we had lots of them where we used to live, but we didn't have owls.
