I made some beer and I fermented it for 2 weeks then carbonated it for two weeks but I added a lot of sugar
Then stuck it in the fridge.
Was the alcohol Killed off?
Not getting me drunk like I want.
The beer is in growlers thinking of using a growler Tapper and using CO2

Maybe its just a low ABV beer. Throw a shot of jack daniels in it. That will take care of the problem.

I used brewers yeast but not the whole package of yeast just a little bit of it in a two gallon fermenter

I find that unfiltered homebrew has a `cleaner buzz` so you might not notice as fast as you normally would from commercial brews.

Did you put the beer in the fridge immediately after adding the priming sugar? Your bottles need a couple weeks at room temperature after being sealed up in order to carbonate.

Edit: reread your first post. Disregard. :drunk:

It's impossible to say without knowing your recipe, OG, and FG. If it's an extract recipe, we can calculate the OG based on the amount of extract and the volume of beer. But the FG needs to be measured with a hydrometer.

Without knowing the details, all we can do is guess blindly.
