I haven't heard of it, I really don't think I can but I figured I'd ask anyway.

I have a few bottles of Chimay that I brought back with me from Europe.

I can see the sediment at the bottom of the bottles. Is it possible to reclaim the yeast in there make a starter and use it for future brews?

or is it pretty much dead and gone.

Yes, if it hasn't been flash pasteurized then you should be able to just streak it onto some agar. You then take a colony off of the agar and make a starter with it.

:mug: Good luck
