Campden tablets

I am making wine for the first time. I crushed the grapes into a bucket 6 days ago and added yeast 3 days ago. I wasn't going to add sulphites but after reading about it I decided it was safer to do so. Can I add the crushed campden tablets now, after the yeast? Or should I wait until the strained must goes into the demijohn?
