Building my brewstand

Hello all,
I am having my single tier brew stand built, and the guy building it had a question that I really hadn't thought of. What distance should the burners be from the bottom of my Kettle? He said he has made them adjustable before, I am good with mine being static, but what distance should they be welded from kettle?

My BruBurner has about 3 1/4 inches of clearance between the burner and the pot and it works great. Depending on your expected BTU's, this might be a good place to start. Personally, I would like to have it adjustable from maybe 2 - 4 inches. Let the jokes begin...
