I wonder if Frambulous is the same as that framboise they did draft only for awhile.

Something probably happened, but we'll likely never know.
The new Bruery spokes person who participates in the thread over on BA said something to the effect that it will be released very soon and is tasting great. Something about they had to change the brew date for it. I couldnt care less about CR this year. Chocolate salty BBLS was close enough of a replacement in my opinion.

Quad Tonnellerie had me really excited because I liked the other 2 iterations. However, reading that it is sour makes me think its a screw up. The saison and triple tonnellerie were not sour and didnt need the crutch of fruit additions.

Frambulous was on draft at the anniversary party. Not sure it was made before then. I'm quite pleased with this in bottles. I thought it was damn tasty last night. Reminds me more of Bretta Rose than Berazzled (same ABV too). Jammy as ****.

With something that was brewed over a year ago and has been in barrels since I doubt it had anything to do with the brew date. I'm sure something happened, that doesn't mean infection, maybe one of the adjuncts didn't arrive in time or they used the chocolate for chocolate rain to make Chocolate Salty BBLS. My snarky comment wasn't meant to indicate a cover up, but more a statement of a policy change at the Bruery. They've been bit too many times by being overly open and honest with us. I don't think they're going to start lying to us, but the openness and freedom to share information has substantially changed in the last year.

do you want mine
For the record, my gif selection was not a direct response toward the beer in question. Just an exaggeration of my thoughts based on already owning too much CR and feeling the bottles of chocolate salty BBLS I got are more than adequate supply for the remainder of my life.

Chronology™:12 - Wee Heavy
Our latest Chronology Series™ - a Scotchology, if you will - ticks on. We brewed a wee heavy - known for rich, malt-forward flavors - and set it to age in bourbon barrels. Every six months, we take a quarter of the barrels, blend them and bottle them. This second bottling in the four-part series represents the nuances imparted to the base beer after 12 months of barrel aging.

Chronology™:6 - Wee Heavy
We’re at it again with Old Father Time for a new Chronology Series™ - a Scotchology, if you will, with a base resembling a Scotch-style ale. In this installment, we brewed a wee heavy - known for rich, malt-forward flavors - and set it to age in bourbon barrels. Every six months, we’ll take a quarter of the barrels, blend them and bottle them. This first bottling represents the nuances imparted to the base beer after six months of barrel aging.

Frucht™: Yumberry
We’re totally Frucht around here. In fact, we may just be filled to the brim, with excitement, that is. Our threshold is 250 BBLs, to be more precise. That’s the total capacity of each oak foeder at Bruery Terreux. One is dedicated exclusively to Frucht, our series of fruited Berliner Weisse-style beers. Known for a tart flavor profile and traditionally low ABV, our German-style wheat beer gains even more funky notes and natural earthy-woodiness from its fermentation in the large oak foeder vessel. Each installment in the series will feature a new fruit, or Frucht, if we’re Sprechen sie Deutsch. This installment has yumberries added, which is our first time flirting with this funky fruit. Prost!

Sans Pagaie®

Sans Pagaie is our take on the Belgian-style kriek, which is a traditional, sour blonde ale aged in barrels with cherries. The word "kriek" actually translates to "cherry" in the Flemish language. Sans Pagaie, our clever moniker for this beer, translates from French to "without a paddle" (see what we did there? Kriek..."without a paddle"... hello, anyone out there?)

The base beer has a subtle funk, which melds gently with the fruit, giving this beer flavors reminiscent of coconut, vanilla yogurt and, of course, fresh cherries. A complex beer, perfect for a warm California day in the park with a slice of homemade cheesecake.

Chocolate Rain®

Chocolate Rain began as a single cask of beer at our very first release event for BlackTuesday back in 2009. Now this beer sings and stands on its own. This decadent version of our bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout features cacao nibs from TCHO and fresh vanilla beans. Rich in chocolate, vanilla, oak and bourbon, it truly puts the "imperial" in imperial stout.

Is anyone willing to pick up trustee duties for me if I choose to renew next year?

Looking at my past 3-4 months buying history, I average about a case per month. Im not picky, I dont need anything sent to me right away. It can be at your leisure, weeks/months after release/you pick the bottles up.
