Brewpi question

Hi everyone, quick question for you.

Do you have to be connected to the Internet at all times to run Brewpi or will it still run without a connection?

If it will still run what if any of the functions will I lose?

I don't have wifi and don't really want to run Ethernet all the way out to my shop where my fermentation fridge is.

it does not need the internet to run. It does need the internet to update/upgrade the Linux OS.

Thank you, been wondering about it.

Like the increased accuracy that Brewpi has over the STC 1000 controllers but don't necessarily need the web interface. Was thinking of using an old PC and putting a Linux OS on it to run Brewpi.
