i think this stuff is dead yeast. it might make an excellent yeast nutrient.

Yup, dead yeast. It's purported to have some sort of health benefit.

Might work as a yeast nutrient, or maybe you can make Marmite out of it. Just don't expect to be able to ferment anything with it.
