hi i have searched for threads but couldnt find specific. so can anyone help please my cider has fully fermented after its first racking and now i want to bottle in 75ml pet bottles but i dont know how much sugar to add to carbonate, and how hard the bottles should be . i tested my dishwasher by pasturizing a fermenting bottle and it stopped the fermentation dead so i will pasturize this way

How large is the batch? Adding 3/4 cp of sugar to five gallons is a pretty typical amount for carbonating. But that will be if you want to give just enough sugar for it to carbonate. If you do that, you won't need to worry about pasteurizing, as the yeast will run out of sugar and then stop by themselves. If you want the cider to be at all sweet, though, you'll need to add sugar or whatever sweetener to taste, then wait until the bottles are hard like an unopened soda bottle and pasteurize.
