I recently bought a panel with a pre-installed "love" PID controller. For boiling, I've been putting it manual mode and dialing it down to about 30-40% power to have a decent boil that's not super vigorous and still have an acceptable boil off. The element turns off and on periodically, which start and stops the boil for a about a second. Is this an issue I should worry about? Is there anyway I can dial down the power of the boil but still keep the element on continuously as not to stop the boil? I've looked through the manual that came with the controller but it's a little too confusing for me....
