Just add a schizo AI to the mix, and we're set.

One time at Boy Scout camp (no not band camp) one of the youth leaders was taking a leak in the bushes behind the main camp area and got stung by a bee on the end of his unit. He came flying back into the tent area pretty fast looking for some salve. Needless to say, he wasn't a happy camper for a while.

Brew on :mug:

LOL, being bee/wasp stings always swell me up something fierce. but i guess Boy scout camp he'd be too young.... 🤔 maybe something for the weeblos though....it'd be natural viagra!

This poor guy was older than most of the scouts -- mid/late teens, so ... (I did the ellipsis just for you.)

Fitty-something years ago the vacuum hose for the windshield wipers had apparently gotten loose on my 1960 Thunderbird. Found out returning from a dinner when the skies opened up. Pulled under a highway bridge and fished around in the trunk until I found a length of hay bailing cord that was long enough to tie to both wiper arms and have the ends run through the cracked vent windows (youngsters will have no idea what those are ;)) so my date and I could work the wipers and get home.

Naturally we got stopped by the local gendarmes a mile from her home. Blessedly they couldn't come up with a reason to ticket me - the wipers were wiping, after all :)

not a headline, but a nice story

have a happy birthday, Matt... CHEERS! to you & your Pops

not sure if the personal info was cool on here, so I redacted. his later tweets thank everyone for their kindness & thoughts, & TURNED DOWN offers for Venmo, suggesting people donate to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, which he said did a lot for his dad while he was going thru his cancer treatment.

That's just a result of parenting done right, is what that is

21st birthday.jpg

reminds me of my friend's dad, Brian, who passed in '19. after the funeral, we went to have lunch & when we went to pay, his girlfriend told us "Brian kept a $100 bill in his wallet with instructions it's to pay for a meal for everyone who came to his funeral, so this one's on him"

thank you for lunch, Brian... it may have only been Cracker Barrel chicken & dumplins, but they they were the BEST chicken & dumplins ever. RIP, & save me & Chris seats at the bar

“This is definitely one of the biggest operations we’ve seen in our county and possibly our state.”

Clearly they have not seen @day_trippr 's, @Yooper 's or @IslandLizard 's home setups!

Geeze bal, I would not call any one out,, ,I seen the pics of your bulkhead stairs. ;}

w/ covid, job situation, and now rotator cuff, my stock is down to a pitiful 3/4 gal apfelwein and 1.5 gal kolsch.
Until I get the next job and/or figure how to BIAB one handed w/o a pump, I'm completely slack sailed in the Sargasso Sea, brewing wise.

we've been living in our CDP ('Census Designated Place') for 17 years & I'm a little POed none of my neighbors let us know this was happening under our noses

ANNUAL SHEEP DRIVE IN LOUDOUN DRAWS SPECTATORS

meanwhile... THIS happened yesterday while we were at the Walmart in the same shopping center
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery of a Sterling bank

& then THIS happened at that same Wally World 7 hours later (Sheriff says the incidents are unrelated)
Suspect in custody after 3 shot, including deputy, in Sterling

Northern Virginia, so not west, not West Virginia, not even western Virginia.

That sheep story is the western part of the county. The rich part of the richest county in the US

Sterling is in eastern Loudoun county, the 'hood of the richest county in the US

Still don't understand the drywall reference, beer wise, except I know some of us brew in drywall compound buckets (ok, but might as well be)....(not that there is anything wrong w that ;}. Admit I did not read all 17 pages of posts from link. Guess I'm a 2018 noob though, haha. But that's just 'cause I'm late to interweb, not homebrew.

Back to the story I linked, they give directions to dispose of it like it might be toxic waste,, OK I see the point there, considering the flavor. But normally, I'd say put in freezer for a bit and drink frosty cold.

You'd kinda have to read a chunk of the linked thread to get it.
But suffice to say, we had a merry prankster here for awhile who was way wilder that anyone here of late ;)

As for "Theme Mango Cheesecake", that's an easy pass here, shrapnel bombs or not...

Cheers!
