Belgian blonde ale troubles

I brewed a AG belgian blonde ale and I used the specified amount of water but I only ended up with 3.5 gallons as a final product what did I do wrong I just brewed an AG pale ale and itworked perfect

I did sparge but I'm thinking I didn't have enough strike water

Did you factor in boil off and absorbtion? Did you hit your correct OG?

I guess I didn't. hind sight. Thats what I get for brewin on a week night after work
