Heres my profile for my dampfbier:

4lb Pilsner
3lb Vienna
1lb smoked malt
150 gram unmalted barley
50gram CaraAroma
18 gram Tettnang 60 mins
10 gram Tettnang 15 mins

First brew and not sure what to expect. What are your thoughts?

Which yeast are you using?

I have never had a dampfbier. All I know about the style is from a BYO article, http://byo.com/stories/item/530-dampfbier-style-profile. Their recipe is fairly different from yours, most notably, their recipe lacks smoked malt.

Whoops. Im using Bavarian Wheat Yeast 3638

Cool, good luck on your first brew. Practice good sanitization and do your best to control fermentation temps, and you should get a good beer.
