So here's Becker Brau's logo. We are two American brothers, with a German heritage (that we like to exagerate). So the logo has colors of the German flag, and the yellow border is supposed to have the texture of the Bavarian flag (but for some reason this copy doesn't, and I'm too lazy to find the good copy right now). Let me know what you think.

i think it looks good as is, although im sure it looks even better with the flag texture. the banners look great, especially the red one weaving through the background.

You might try filling the space between the inner and outer ovals with the texture, and outlining the Bs in black, this way the texture has a stronger presence, and the type will have better contrast to the background.
