That's how they roll, for some reason. When they recently opened up distillery tastings, which sound awesome, it was only for weekdays during business hours. They apparently have added a Saturday tasting, though. It's like, tourists are off work anyway, but it sucks to be local and have to take off work to visit the place. That being said, I would have considered taking an afternoon off for this but I'll be out of town.

I've really enjoyed the previous ones I've done, I could probably finagle joining and maybe hosting if we'd need a spot. If you get a conversation going and need another add me in.
Same. Can contribute and depending on day of bang can possibly participate. I'll be a fluffer, if you will, with bang potential.

A little bird just informed me that Russian River bought a 10 acre plot in Windsor and are going to build a destination brewery there. Hopefully this will solve some of there problems.

So... Mindful Distributors? Getting KRBC should be pretty cool. Anyone know where to get the full list of breweries that we'll be getting now?

[EDIT:Also seeing Sixpoint and BarrelHouse...]

-Hi-Wheel
-Locust Ciders

Did we not get KRBC before? I swear I remember seeing Citra sitting on the shelves at Whole Foods for awhile.
Not Kern Citra, there are a ton of other beers just called "Citra", IIRC Knee Deep makes one. AFAIK Citra has never been distributed anywhere. JO came up a long-ass time ago but I think that was a one-time thing.

Kyle also brings some kegs up during SF beer week and does the Hayward DIPA thing as well as some other shindig in Redwood City. But that's about it.

Only time I've had it was at The Bistro DIPA Fest during SFBW a few years ago. Was voted fan favorite. Have always been on the lookout but haven't had it since. Hopefully this changes now.

We'll see how far Citra makes it. When they only distro'd to Bakersfield and Central Coast, that beer was still brewery-release only, complete with lotto-based-releases. But they did expand and plan to can, so we'll see.

Have had Citra on tap in previous years at Gourmet Haus in Redwood City for SFBW and bottled last year. My IPA memory banks have been whipped out due to short shelf life, but it was good. Hopefully revisit some other KRBC beers.
