Have had Citra on tap in previous years at Gourmet Haus in Redwood City for SFBW and bottled last year. My IPA memory banks have been whipped out due to short shelf life, but it was good. Hopefully revisit some other KRBC beers.
Dirt Hippie is one to look out for too. An Imperial Red that - if my memory serves me correctly - had very little sweetness to it. A bit of a rarity in that style.

Not Kern Citra, there are a ton of other beers just called "Citra", IIRC Knee Deep makes one. AFAIK Citra has never been distributed anywhere. JO came up a long-ass time ago but I think that was a one-time thing.
I was probably confusing it with Knee Deep. Still, that label looks familiar.

Just was up there over the weekend. Long Swim (won the Bistro Double IPA this year) > Kern Pale > Shuttle Bunny > Gravity Check > Citra > JO > Hop Nookie (won 3rd at the Triple IPA at the Bistro this year)

They just had their 10th anniversary party about a month ago and had brewed a batch of Citra for FWIBF. Not sure if those kegs were hanging around from that batch or if it was a new batch of Citra...shrug.

TLDR Citra is good, but nearly every new beer they've come out with in the last few years is better.

Long Swim is SO DAMN GOOD. I really hope they bottle that soon.

Does Temescal fill other growlers?

We fill growlers! Take home select beers in one of our sweet 750ml or 2L growlers, or we can fill yours. Just make sure whatever you bring in is clean; amber glass or stainless steel; free of all non-Temescal Brewing names/logos/markings; and either a 750ml, 1L, 32oz, 2L, or 64oz size.
