Next time you make it try it with pistachios instead of pine nuts. I made that once and it was amazing.
 
Tip here for you guys making the pesto yourself: don't use canned Parmesan. Get fresh stuff. The canned stuff makes the pesto way too salty.

Ah ok, I get ya now. I haven't used that in years.
I always thought growing up that that stuff smelled like puke, it turns out that it shares a few chemicals with puke, one of them being the puke smell.....so I was right.
 
Up until i was probably atleast 18 I refused to eat anything with Parmesan cheese because I thought it was disgusting. Then I found out that I love real Parm and what I had thought was parm was really the ass end of a dead skunk aka Kraft.
